Pencil is an AI scheduling assistant that lives in iMessage. You add Pencil to a conversation and it finds a time that works, sends the calendar invite, and follows up so the plan actually happens. Pencil is operated by Cooper Schoenthaler in the United States.

You sign up with your phone number and connect your Google Calendar. Keep your information accurate: Pencil books real events on your real calendar. You must be at least 13 to use Pencil and at least 18 to buy a subscription.

Your first 3 booked plans are free, no card required. After that, Pencil costs $9 a month for unlimited plans. Subscriptions are billed by Stripe, renew automatically each month, and may be subject to tax depending on where you live.

Referrals: when someone you introduced to Pencil becomes a paying user, your next month is free.

Cancel any time: tell Pencil in your private chat or email [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you will not be charged again. Your free plan keeps working.

If you were charged by mistake, or your first paid month did not work out, email us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full. Beyond that we do not prorate partial months, since you can cancel any time and keep service through the period you paid for.

Use Pencil for real scheduling between real people. Do not use it to spam, harass, or deceive anyone, or for anything illegal. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service or its other users.

To do its job, Pencil reads and writes events on the calendar you connect, and sends and receives iMessages in conversations that include it. It acts within the preferences and settings you give it, and you can change or revoke access at any time.

We work hard to keep Pencil fast and reliable, but it is provided as is: it may occasionally be down, and features may change as the product improves. If we make a change that meaningfully affects you, we will tell you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to Pencil is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Pencil helps you make plans; you are responsible for the plans you make.

If we update these terms, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. For significant changes we will let you know directly.
